Chairman – Fostering the objectives of the United Nations Environmental Programme and the need for Sustainable Development, Stanson investigated South Pacific nations such as Papua, New Guinea for the creation of an environmentally responsible method for the development of their national resources of vast amounts of oil, gold, timber, medicinal plants and herbs, fishing, rare wildlife reserves, and tourism. Special attention would be devoted to the development of essential native cultures.  In friendship, Mr. Stanson was invited to a special reception at the UN’s Brunei Headquarters.
